Tell me about your musical roots
I’m from Ukraine, and my musical path started with classical piano, which I studied for seven years from the age of six. That early training gave me a solid grounding in music theory and discipline. When I was 13, I was introduced to electronic music through artists like Amon Tobin and Aphex Twin, which completely transformed how I understood sound. From that moment on, I dove deeper into the electronic scene, and eventually, I found my way into DJing, where I could blend all these influences together.
What is your favourite place to dig and why?
I prefer digging online from private sellers on Discogs for the time savings and the exclusivity of unique finds. That said, I can’t overlook the amazing shops in Barcelona, like Discos Paradiso, Small Black Dots, Mad Record Store, and Nut. They always have records that resonate with me.
What do you listen to when you want to chill?
When I want to chill, I lean into downtempo and ambient vibes. Artists like Biosphere, Space Time Continuum, and Detroit Escalator Company really resonate with me. Their soundscapes create this serene atmosphere that feels like a gentle escape, perfect for letting go and just being in the moment.
Can you share with me your favourite podcast at the moment?
At the moment, my favorite podcast is Vasil’s PARTISAN Guest Mix. His music selection is incredibly special to me; it always resonates on a deep level and evokes so many emotions. Every listen feels like a journey.
